Lindsey Mulheron Liden grew up in the arts and crafts community of Brasstown, NC. He studied art at Warren Wilson College later transferring to pursue a degree in classical percussion from the University of North Carolina in Asheville. After years touring as a musician for bluegrass, jazz and old-time bands as well as teaching music theory and percussion regionally he discovered the Professional Crafts Wood Program at Haywood Community College in Clyde, NC. Upon receiving his diploma he returned to his family's farm. He built a shop and an off-grid cabin where he lives with his girlfriend Sienna, a potter - www.rooclayworks.com, their dog Kesey, and two kittens Murphy and Ari. This is where Liden started his business Mulheron Craft. He spealizes in custom made, open back banjos and fine woodworking. He continues to teach, play a range of instruments and perform. In 2017, Lindsey became the Resident Artist in Wookworking at the John C. Campbell Folk School where he develops their course selection and builds the woodworking program.
